Siskiyou Shepherds - Trip to Mt St Helens, Well Almost

It was a beautiful day, so we decided to take a trip up to Mt St Helens to
check on the progress of the new growth developing in her crater.
One wrong turn and we had alternate plans. We drove up the mountain until
we could drive no more (they had some gates locked across the road
because the snow levels were still low on this side of the mountain).
That didn't stop us though, we just parked by the gate and spent the next
few hours just meandering up the middle up the road and enjoying
the sights and sounds of the forest.
